Unauthorized Internet Wiretapping at Blackhat USA 2010

Posted by Tom Cross on July 20, 2010 at 11:11 PM EDT.

In case you hadn't noticed, I'll be speaking at Blackhat Briefings in Las Vegas next week. This is essentially an encore of the presentation I gave at Blackhat Federal this winter on security issues with Internet Lawful Intercept architectures. If you didn't catch the talk at Federal, here is your chance to see it. The Vegas version will provide a more indepth discussion of the fundamental tensions that exist between protocol designers, implementers, and network operators regarding security and functionality of Internet infrastructure. If you make it to the talk, please come up and introduce yourself. Its always fun to meet Frequency-X readers.
