No Sleep for Conficker on Cinco de Mayo

Well, it's been awhile since we've talked about Conficker, so we thought we'd provide an update.  There have been some reports that Conficker activity has decreased.  From our viewpoint, we haven't seen any dramatic decreases.  In fact, the number of unique IPs our Managed Security Services folks see each day has somewhat stabilized as the following chart shows:

As I've mentioned before, unique IPs isn't a perfect way to count the total number of infections (see caveats posted previously), but what you can take away from this graph is that the total number of infections hasn't seemed to have changed much over the past month.
