Cyberheists & Keyloggers

Posted by Gunter Ollmann on March 19, 2009 at 12:27 PM EDT.

I'm sure you've seen the news recently about a foiled cyberheist in the UK. I was planning on commenting on the attempt earlier, but I've been traveling quite a bit recently and the opportunity never materialized.

In that time some nice public analysis pieces have appeared about the attempted cyberheist, and I've had a number of follow on queries about insider threats and the use of commercial keyloggers.

This is a bit of a cross-post to readers interested in learning more about the attack and keylogger technology. I've added relevant information to my personal blog - technicalinfodotnet.blogspot.com.
